TasteTech has been awarded Beacon status in recognition of its positive culture and innovative, tailored product offering.

TasteTech has become Bristol’s 26th Beacon South West accredited company. As a specialist manufacturer of encapsulated food flavourings and ingredients working with leading bakery and confectionery clients in 28 countries around the world,TasteTech has been awarded Beacon status in recognition of its positive culture andinnovative, tailored product offering.

Supported by the South West Regional Development Agency (SWRDA), Beacon South West brings together more than 200 of the region’s most pioneering and rapidly expanding organizations, providing an environment for exploring new ideas and strategies with other successful companies.

Janis Sinton, managing director for TasteTech commented, “We are internationally renowned within our industry but have very few clients in the South West. It is wonderful therefore, to be recognised at a regional level and to be able to discuss the issues that affect our business with other likeminded organisations - while our industries may differ, our problems remain the same.

“Furthermore, our staff is an essential part of our business and we are all very enthusiastic about what we do. We strive to solve the problems set by clients and pride ourselves on the tailored products we produce as a result. So this award is for the extended TasteTech team each one of whom has helped to achieve this”.

Sue Baker, Beacon South West Project Director, said: "This is a truly niche business which uses its knowledge and services to great result. Having invested in specialist equipment, processes and people, they have built good relationships with customers and suppliers alike.

“Positive, welcoming, open and inclusive - the TasteTech team certainly has a very special way about them and their passion shines through in all that they do. It’s a pleasure to welcome them to the initiative and they will reap as much from other Beacons as they have already sewn.”
